It’s already April!

It’s really hot & sunny, but didn’t realize it seaside is cold. 😦

I went on a trip to countryside beach in Korea for some new Spring collection photoshoot!

I know we have a less cliche styles, but in this look, you will find casual items.

The first item you would see is Squared Pattern Boxy Top.

It’s a comfortable boxy fit top with squared pattern.

Material is pretty rough and has dropped shoulder design, so it would be perfect to give a casual, but urban look.

The gray slack is Free Waist Slacks.

Just like the name of this pants, it has an elasticized waist, no zipper.

Very comfy! 🙂 It’s one size so make sure you check the measurement.

For Korean sizes, it fits to regular Small to Medium.

This Spring 2014, slacks pants are very popular and trendy.

I see many fashionable girls wearing a classic trouser look slacks when I go out Hongdae, Myeongdong or Gangnam.

Spring Weather in Korea

Spring time in Korea can be summed up into two words, Beautifully Cute.

Harsh Winters and exhausting Summers can leave a bad impression of Korea’s seasons, but Spring and Fall are just to die for. Especially, Spring.

I personally like Spring, maybe it’s because I was born in Spring, or it’s the season that you have an excuse to dress up and show off your amazing styles.

I just can’t stop shopping clothes in Spring. That’s why I always go out Myeongdong, Hongdae, Gangnam and night time, Dongdaemun.

 

Back to the weather in Korea, the Winter chill disappears and small sprouts appear across the mountains.

Then after the green vividly takes hold of the scenery and the busy streets flood with short skirts and festivals, Korea shines with the most beautiful pink glow I’ve witnessed to this day.

Cherry-blossom trees blossom in late April. Creating a country full of fluttering white and pink pedals floating in the air.

You can shake the trees and pedals will fall softly, seeming like a warm winter snow.

Plus my favorite attributes of spring, is the kindness and energy people have here.

Everyone is just overly happy that the air is fresh and the sun is giving life to the country.

I wish it lasted longer, but again there’s Fall and it will come back.

Myeongdong is one of the most popular shopping place in Seoul and is the place where you will meet all the fashionable people in Korea.

As you see in the photos above, you will get a small idea of how people dress up in Korea.

Korean fashion is getting bigger and bigger everyday and becoming a new fashion trend.

Best Korean Clothes Shopping Place in Seoul – Hongdae

A-land, Myeongdong

Hongdae is my favorite place to shop.

Even better than Myeongdong, because Myeongdong is always too crowded.

If you go to Hongdae for shopping, there is a place that I’d like to recommend the first for both men and women.

A-land is a shopping mall, selling Korean and worldwide brands and also vintage items.

At A-land, you can meet all the trendy clothes by young and hot Korean fashion designers.

Price is from mid to high, but because they are designer clothing, quality is very satisfying.

Now there are more than 10 franchise branches in Korea, but the reason why I like Hongdae is the newest building is there.

You can also visit the Nanta concert which right next to the new A-land building.

And also! there is an outlet that sells A-land clothes.

A-land after A-land is also located in Hongdae area, but it’s towards to Hapjeong and Sangsu subway station.

Items can be go up to 90% sale!

My Favorite Korean Snack Food Tteokbokki

Korean Snack Food Tteokbokki

If you like Korean food, I guess you might have heard of Tteokbokki already.

It’s the most popular Korean snack food in Korea, followed by kimchi, gimbap, Korean bbq, soju and etc.

Tteokbokki can be easily found on the streets in Korea such as Myeongdong, Gangnam, Dongdaemun.

But they are different kinds of Tteokbokki and they taste slightly different.

I’m going to introduce my favorite Tteokbokki place today.

The place is called Miminae(미미네) and it is located in Hongdae area in Seoul.

What is different about Miminae Tteokbokki is that it is more like soup and you eat it with spoons, not chopsticks.

And now you are probably wondering about the food next to Tteokbokki and they are fried shrimps which is also the must-eat food at Miminae.

It’s not as spicy as other Korean food or Tteokbokki, so you don’t have to worry too much. 🙂

I actually found it quite sweet!

Miminae is located at the center of Hongdae.

You can just ask any people on the street or to be more specific, it is located right by the Sangsang madang the art concert hall and Soo Karaoke.(People call it ice-cream karaoke because they give out free ice cream at karaoke.)
